Verse from the Divine
Mother
If you seek Me with true
desire for knowledge,
I shall be with you.
I am the seed and the
source of the visible world;
I am the ocean of light
in which our soul lives;
I am the ruler of space:
I am the creator of cycles
of time;
Fire, air, light, water,
earth obey Me.
Feel Me as the spiritual
origin of all matter;
And as I have no consort
on earth, call me maya.

"Not Christian or Jew
or Muslim, not Hinda,Buddhist, Sufi, or Zen, not any religion or cultural
system. I am not from the east or the west, not out of hte ocean
or up from the ground, not natural or ethereal, not composed of elements
at all. I do not exist, am not an entity in this world or the next,
did not descend from Adam and Eve or any origin story. My place is
the placeless, a trace of the traceless. Neither body or soul.
I belong to the beloved, have seen the two worlds as one and that one call
to and know, first, last, outer, inner, only that breath breathing
HUMAN BEING." Rumi
"Essence is emptiness
Everything else, accidental.
Emptiness brings peace
to loving.
Everything else, disease.
In this world of trickery
Emptiness is what your
soul wants."
Rumi
"Woman, when she wants,
becomes the universe, she was a flower, a tree in the wind, a changing
cloud, a giant butterfly, a garden with paths of pleated fabric."
George Rodenbach describing Loie Fuller's dance.
From Your Soul by Alan
Sheets
"From your soul comes
your spiritual nature,
from your spiritual nature
comes your inner drive,
from your inner drive
comes your life purpose,
from your life purpose
comes your heart's path."
"The Soul never forces
anything.
The soul is never afraid.
The soul never tires.
The soul includes all
people.
The soul is not confused.
The soul has unlimited
resources."

"Soul as an Integrating
Factor - quote from Soul Return"
by Aminah Raheem
In this work I distinguish
individual soul from Spirit. Spirit is defined as that all-encompassing,
creative Order of the Cosmos which is before all beginnings and beyond
all endings. Spirit has been called God, the Creator, the Tao, "All
That Is." It is seen as the formless all-pervasive energy from which
all of creation derives, including the individual soul of humankind.
Individual soul originates
in, and is permeated by, Spirit, yet it carries a unique expression of
its own. The soul is held to be immortal, having existence before
and after any given lifetime. At death some part of consciousness
from this life travels out of the body with the soul. In esoteric
literature this part is called the causal body."
"The Tao that can be told
is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be
named is not the eternal name.
The nameless is the beginning
of heaven and earth.
The named is the mother
of ten thousand things.
Ever desireless, one
can see the mystery.
Ever desiring, one can
see the manifestations.
These two spring from
the same source but differ in
name; this appears as
darkness.
Darkness within darkness.
The gate to all mystery."
Lao Tsu, Tao Te Ching
"Stop the words now.
Open the window in the
center of your chest,
and let spirit fly in
and out."
Rumi
"To change a person must
face the
dragon of his appetites
with another dragon,
the life-energy of the
soul"
Rumi
